Terms of Service
1. The app
Breazzy is provided free of charge, as-is and as-available, with no warranty express or implied. You install and use the Breazzy Android app at your own discretion.
2. Your storage provider
Breazzy uploads photos to a cloud storage account that you open and operate with a third-party provider (Backblaze, Cloudflare, AWS, or another S3-compatible service). You are solely responsible for:
- Charges incurred at the storage provider;
- Securing your credentials;
- Compliance with the storage provider's terms;
- The continued availability of your storage account.
Breazzy has no contractual relationship with your storage provider and accepts no responsibility for actions, outages, billing changes, or data loss on their side.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Breazzy to back up content that is illegal where you live or where your bucket is hosted, including but not limited to material that infringes copyright, child sexual abuse material, or content prohibited by your storage provider's acceptable-use policy. Breazzy has no ability to view your uploads, but you remain responsible for them.
4. No backup guarantee
Breazzy is a backup tool, not a guaranteed backup service. Uploads can fail due to network conditions, credential errors, OS background-task restrictions, or storage-provider outages. We recommend you verify your backups periodically by listing your bucket with an external S3 client.
5. No data on our side
We operate no servers and store no user data. We cannot recover photos, restore lost credentials, or access your account because there is no account to access.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Breazzy and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or storage-provider charges, arising from your use of the app or the website. The total aggregate liability of Breazzy to you for any cause is limited to USD $0, reflecting that no fees are paid.
7. Trademarks
Backblaze, Cloudflare, Amazon Web Services, Amazon S3, Google, Google Photos, iCloud, and other names referenced are trademarks of their respective owners. Breazzy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
8. Open source components
The Breazzy Android app uses open-source libraries, including Flutter SDK and selected community packages. Their licenses are listed within the app under Settings → About → Open source licenses.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Breazzy is operated. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be noted in the app and on this page for at least 90 days.
