About Breazzy

What we build

Breazzy is a free Android app that backs up your photos and videos directly to a cloud storage bucket you own — on Backblaze B2, Cloudflare R2, or Amazon S3. There is no Breazzy server in the middle, no Breazzy account, and no Breazzy database. The app exists; the company behind it exists; everything else lives on your phone and in your bucket.

Why we built it

The major photo backup services are excellent products that solve the wrong problem. They invite you in with cheap storage, build a beautiful viewer around your library, and then make leaving expensive — sometimes monetarily, often emotionally because the export path is painful. The fix is not a better viewer. The fix is a backup tool that uses storage you already control, in a format you can read with any tool, at a price that does not include a margin for someone else's user interface.

Cloud storage providers like Backblaze B2 and Cloudflare R2 already do the hard part — durable, redundant, geographically distributed object storage — at a price ten to thirty times lower than what consumer photo apps charge. The remaining work is a phone-side tool that talks to those buckets directly. That is Breazzy.

Founders, headcount, funding history, investors, location. Breazzy is small and stays out of the way; the product is the entire pitch. If that changes we will write it down here.
